Shakespeare was born on 1564 in England. He had several brothers and at least one sister and also he was given a free education and There are no specific records relating William Shakespeare's attendance at school. William Shakespeare's parents were both illiterate. Shakespear's birthday traditionally celebration was on St George's Day, 23 April.

Shakespeare was 18 years old when he got married. His wife's name is Anne Whateley, they had three children. He wrote 37 plays. The word 'bard' means poet. Shakespeare is called 'The Bard' because he is widely recognised as the greatest poet the world has ever known. He didn't appear in any of his plays.

Shakespeare possessed a large vocabulary, having used 29,066 different words in his works and 884,647 words altogether. He invented over 1700 words. Shakespeare retired to his native Statford.
